Joe Biden has invited top executives of technology sector
US President Joe Biden is scheduled to hold meetings with leaders of leading technology companies. To that end, they have been invited to a meeting at the White House on Wednesday. News Bloomberg.
The meeting will be attended by Apple CEO Tim Cook, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadela and Amazon CEO Andy Jesse. It is learned that Biden will discuss some recent issues in the technology sector including cyber security and ransomware attacks.
In addition to these three companies, Google, IBM, JPMorgan Chase and gas and electricity service provider- Southern Company have also been invited to the meeting. Bloomberg has confirmed that Tom Fanning, CEO of Southern Company, will attend the meeting.
The White House is said to be keeping the meeting secret. As a result, it was not known whether the heads or representatives of social media would take part in the meeting.
